Shortly after my debut in cutlery, I was looking for a shape that allowed me to carry a fixed knife permanently. Several characteristics were important in my specifications:

a short blade less than 5 cm, because that’s enough for a whole host of cutting uses;

a handle that I have very well in hand, with all the grips.

After several tries, the idea of using a ring, which I had already seen on some knives, came relatively naturally. Following a few tests of various shapes and sharing my ideas with several friends, the design of the claw as you know it has reached maturity.

The concept of the ring in the center of the knife is very important when you don’t want to lose your knife, even when you open your hand.

The size owes a lot to the fact that I wore a knife around my neck for a long time and wanted a compact. The look is quite reminiscent of the deringers that I love and, as always, it was a compromise that allowed me to finally have what, for me, seems to be the perfect tool.
